A Philly Mosaic Newborn Photography Session: Philadelphia Family Photographer

I knew this family was going to be so cool to work with for an at-home newborn photo session in Philly last month. But I didn’t know they were going to be so awesome as to suggest heading to this mosaic, in the cold, with a newborn and toddler. Their 2 year old read books to the baby, they had some snuggle time and tickles on the couch, and then we headed across the street for some outdoor shots at this Philadelphia mosaic.

There’s a reason I like to call all my sessions “family-focused,” and that’s because I love to capture the sweet relationships within my clients’ families in each and every shoot. I adore taking newborn shots of course, but especially close to my heart is being able to provide my clients images of them soaking up the precious newness of their tiny addition, while also playing and laughing together as a family. Having a big sibling there to assist with the sillies of course helps too…especially when they’re up for a dance party in front of an awesome street backdrop!
