Welcome to Desiree Hoelzle Photography! Of course, I am Desiree, Bucks County, PA lifestyle photographer. I am also a mom to 2 amazing and energetic kids, rescue dog mama, and a lover of pickled okra.
When I am not photographing or editing my amazing clients’ families (AKA living my dream-come-true-career) you can find me taking walks, hustling the creative entrepreneur/mom life, or escaping to Charleston, SC to visit my family.

I was raised and went to college in NJ but have lived either in, or just outside of Philly since I was 23. I absolutely love everything about the Philly area! We’ve settled in Bucks County, PA and my studio is in Newtown, PA.
Much of my work takes place down the shore! The ocean is my happy place and I love photographing couples and families there.
I am a wee bit dog obsessed. We have three rescues of our own and frequently foster dogs as well.
I am a rare disease mama. My son has a crazy rare autoinflammatory syndrome that is finally under control but was a very long, grueling few years to a diagnosis and treatment. I have so much empathy for parents that walk similar paths.
And since you’re probably curious about my business somewhat since you’re here, I specialize in lifestyle newborn, family, WedDing, maternity, Professional portraits, Pet Portraits and also offer boudoir now!
I service clients from all around Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Chester counties (and some South Jersey areas in there too!). Canon is my go-to for my cameras and I am a prime lens lover, which means you’ll see me switching up my lenses a few times on shoots depending on the shot I am looking to achieve for you. I’ve worked with hundreds families since starting my business in 2017 and would love the chance to discuss working with you too!

My goal as a photographer is to capture a tiny window of time that documents your story as a couple and family.
"In-between" moments during sessions are my favorite to capture and always are the ones that come out the best, because they show your true connections as a family. In the unposed, I'll photograph the perfect moment of that sparkle in your child's eye, as they tell a silly joke or explore something new. Or capture that exact way that only they can snuggle up to you and that familiar, warm smile on your face that you know so well but never get to document, as your baby giggles. These are the kinds of images that I want to document for you and that make me so excited to do what I do as a photographer. I adore capturing the details to tell your family’s story.
