Highlands Mansion and Gardens | Fort Washington Family Photography
For families who love elegant gardens and historic architecture, Highlands Mansion and Gardens in Fort Washington is one of Montgomery County's hidden gems. The historic estate includes a Georgian mansion, formal gardens, stone walls, walking paths, and beautifully landscaped grounds spread across more than 40 acres. Professional photography permits are required, making it a well-maintained and exclusive location for portrait sessions. It’s one of my favorite locations to work for this reason!
I especially love this location for families who want a sophisticated and refined look while still allowing children room to play and explore. In the fall, the colors are unmatched and the fields to the front of the mansion make a perfect fall backdrop.

Curtis Arboretum | Montgomery County Family Photography
Curtis Arboretum in Wyncote is another favorite location for family photography sessions. The arboretum, just outside of Philly and easy to get to from the Main Line area as well, is known for its beautiful landscapes and historic character.
One of the things I love most about Curtis Arboretum is the incredible variety of scenery available within a short walking distance. We can create multiple unique looks during a single session, making it perfect for families who want a diverse gallery of images.
Weeknights are best here as there are often events taking place on weekends.

Located in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Tyler Gardens is one of my absolute favorite locations for family photography sessions in Bucks County. Known for its formal gardens, stone architecture, sweeping staircases, fountains, and beautifully manicured grounds, Tyler Gardens offers a timeless and elegant setting that photographs beautifully throughout the year.
Originally part of the historic Tyler Estate, the gardens feature stunning European-inspired design elements that create a unique backdrop unlike anywhere else in the region. From the grand stone staircases and archways to the colorful seasonal gardens, every corner provides opportunities for beautiful family portraits.
One of the reasons families love Tyler Gardens is the variety of scenery available in a single session. We can capture classic portraits surrounded by formal gardens, candid family moments along tree-lined paths, and playful images in open green spaces.
